Stop Directory Browsing with .htaccess

If you upload files in a folder without an index.html/.php page, those files are visible and grabeble What can you do?

If you already have a .htaccess in your domain/subdomain, download it on your computer and open it, if you don't, open up a new text document with a text editor such as Note Pad and paste this code:

Now save it as .htaccess (if you can't save it like that on your computer, save it as a.htaccess). Using an FTP program upload it to your site and then change the name to only .htaceess. If you already have one on your site, overwrite it and if you can't, erase the one on your site and upload the just edited one.

You're done! Simple eh?
