This week question:

What platform do you use for your blog? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver’s Reviews)

My answer:

I don’t use any platform, I’m hosted by Dreamhost and I use WordPress for my blogging stuff.

  1. I use Blogger as the platform for my blog, but did use WordPress for a group blog for a short while. I know people who have used Dreamhost and really liked it. I pay for my own domain, and it’s worked well for me. I hope you have a great week. Happy reading!

    1. Thanks for stopping by! I’ve been using Dreamhost for many years now and never had any issue, but I am a small blog though so I don’t need much :D

Take care and happy reading, too!

    1. I did have a Blogger but only to mirror this website. In fact I’ve never published over there (I cross-posted only).

      Thanks for stopping by!

  2. I originally started out on Blogger but got frustrated with the restrictions and was tempted away to with all their widgets, customisation options and formatting in 2017. As my blog has grown over the last year and I want to be able to have more features on my blog and started looking at affordable alternatives. On 30th April I decided to go down the self-hosting route and found an affordable deal – so like you, Laura, Flora’s Musings is now a self-hosted blog!
I hope you enjoy the rest of your week, stay safe and healthy.

    1. Hi Flora, congratulation on your self hosting plan! It is awesome once you understand a little bit of it. But yes I think the customization in WP is better that on other platforms but that’s only my opinion with what I tried.

      Stay safe, too!
      Take care.
