If the Night Stalker is watching, you’re already dead…

In the dead of a swelteringly hot summer’s night, Detective Erika Foster is called to a murder scene. The victim, a doctor, is found suffocated in bed. His wrists are bound and his eyes bulging through a clear plastic bag tied tight over his head.

A few days later, another victim is found dead, in exactly the same circumstances. As Erika and her team start digging deeper, they discover a calculated serial killer – stalking their victims before choosing the right moment to strike.

The victims are all single men, with very private lives. Why are their pasts shrouded in secrecy? And what links them to the killer?

As a heat wave descends upon London, Erika will do everything to stop the Night Stalker before the body count rises, even if it means risking her job. But the victims might not be the only ones being watched… Erika’s own life could be on the line.

The global bestselling author of The Girl in the Ice is back with a heart-racing, electrifying thriller. If you love Angela Marsons, Rachel Abbott and Karin Slaughter, you’ll be hooked on Robert Bryndza.

About the book

The Night Stalker is the second book in the series with Erika Foster as protagonist, a detective of the British Police. Erika and her team are called upon a crime scene of a local doctor who is found by his mother naked and with a plastic bag on his head. Erika’s boss wants to give the case to the sex crime division considering that the doctor just divorced his wife and was meeting with men. But Erika thinks otherwise and believe that there is something else hidden behind a hate crime.

A few days later another body is found, naked with a plastic bag o his head. This time the victim is a well known news reporter and it can’t be a hate crime.

In this book, too, Erika can’t do her job and this (and other small facts) is why I give only 3 stars.

The last investigation Erika led went badly wrong… resulting in the death of her husband. With her career hanging by a thread, Erika must now battle her own personal demons as well as a killer more deadly than any she’s faced before. But will she get to him before he strikes again?

First book in the series set in London about Detective Erika Foster. A girl’s body is found in a museum lake, at first it seems an isolated case, but then Erika finds other homicides with the same modus operandi of the killer.

At the beginning Erika is called upon the scene because she is good at solving high profile cases, then she is suspended, but she continues with the help of her squad that doesn’t like the man appointed in her place.
