This week question:

You have just won a $100.00 Visa gift card. Will you spend the entire amount on a rare collector’s edition you have always wanted, or buy several newly-published books? Explain your choice. (submitted by Maria @ A Night’s Dream of Books)

My answer:

Neither. I don’t care about editions, as long as a series is composted by the same edition. And I don’t care about the date a book was published. I look at the cost and whether I want to read that book or not. The cheaper the books are, the more I can buy.

This week question:

Could you ever pick a favorite book or is it like choosing your favorite child? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver’s Reviews)

My answer:

Choosing your favorite child… I do have a few favorite series, ones that when a new book comes out I can’t wait to read but not only one favorite book. I think it’s a sin t have only one.

This week question:

Have you ever thought of writing a respectful, but angry letter to an author to ask them WHY they killed off one of your favorite characters in a novel? (submitted by Maria @ A Night’s Dream of Books)

My answer:

No, never happened to any of my favorite characters, thank goodness! It did happen in TV shows or fanfictions and I did think to write a nasty comment but it never accomplishes anything (not like they will resurrect the character, right?)

This week question:

Is there a fictitious town in a book that you would love to live in? What makes it appealing? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver’s Reviews)

My answer:

No, other than A song of ice and fire, I’ve never read books with fictitious towns. And I wouldn’t like to live in Westeros or in any other Martin’s worlds… (even if I love those books!)
