Here another year challenging myself with my stack of TBR books. Here a link to last year challenge. You can find the challenge with all the rules here.
I’ll try to reach Mount Blanc: Read 24 books from your TBR pile/s again even if I had a little bit of struggle last year since I started to read a new genre (and I didn’t have any books of that…)
For this challenge, too, I need to remember to use #MountTBR2020 when I’m talking about a book in this pile… and to log in my advancement (which I didn’t last year ).
I even downloaded some files from Google Docs that helps me take count of all the books I have and read so I’m more motivate to read. I’m going to talk about it in a future post title “I’m going crazy with planning” where I explain my method and apps I use to read.
This is my pile – the titles are mostly in Italian, I will write the English one (or the original one) once I read the book:

Here another challenge for 2019. I have a pile of books that need to be read because, you know, I’ve already bought them, so this reading challenge is right for me. You can find the challenge with all the rules here.
I counted how many books I physically have that I want to read (I have other that I’m not sure) and I counted 23 so for now I’ll try to reach Mount Blanc: Read 24 books from your TBR pile/s which seems appropriate since I’m Italian…
For this challenge, too, I need to remember to use #MountTBR2019 when I’m talking about a book in this pile…
This is my pile – Title in Italian (Title in English):

Again this year, I joined the Cloak and Dagger Reading Challenge.
I was able to become an Inspector last year but I’m not comfortable enough to jump grade so I will maintain this level for this year (26-35 books – Inspector).
Reviews for these books will come during the year, but for a few weeks I will publish book reviews from last year; I will update this post when they are published.
I need to remember to use #CloakDaggerChal tag when posting… I didn’t last year.

I have joined the 2018 Cloak and Dagger Reading Challenge.
I’m a bit late joining but there are still signs up so I think it’s still okay. I don’t know whether the books I’ve already read since the new year are fine for the challenge, I will check back later and modify this post if they don’t count. I will add them for now. If you’re reading this and it’s after April 15 that means it’s fine, if not I will have added an “Edit” note at the end.
I read a lot of mysteries, I pretty much read only them (that’s why I always have trouble finding titles for other challenges) so I’m going for 26-35 books – Inspector.
Reviews for these books will come during this year, I will update this post when they are published.
I need to remember to use #CloakDaggerChal tag when posting…
12/28/2018: Let’s see how many books I’ve read…

As you probably saw, if you are a “coming back” visitor, the site changed a little bit. Even if the site header is the same and so the base colors, this is a brand new theme, coded from scratch. First of all I wanted to have a double site, both in English and Italian and since I had to translate the theme in Italian I decided to code it again (and I did have some errors in the validator that I wanted to eliminate, but I found out they are from wordpress and various script that I can’t do anything about, or rather I will try to check them when I’m finished with the translations). Anyway, New Year (Happy New Year by the way) Newish Site.
So today I’m going to present you the Italian version of this site, even if very few articles are translated. I wanted to have primary my book reviews in Italian, that’s why I created it and because I’m Italian and I think I express myself better in my language (not sure though, sometimes I can say the English word but not the Italian…). Each article is linked to the Italian version and vice versa with the little flag on the right. If there isn’t a translation yet, it links to the homepage of the IT site.
Another good thing, I think, is that the site now is secure; I already had a certificate but for some reasons it wasn’t secure (and this is the second reason why I changed the theme, even if the theme coding was secure anyway). Not every article is “secure” meaning that I still have some images and links without the https so it gives the insecurity, I’m slowly changing all the articles but the site is secure even if there is the not so from google.
Other than that, my friend Janet challenged me to do the Popsugar Reading Challenge so I’m looking for book titles for that (it’s not easy! since I want to do it with crime/mystery books). I won’t have a problem with Nordic Noir since there are a lot of Nordic books translated in Italian (I saw that lots of good ones aren’t translated in English) but others have me stumped…
