Here another book haul, this time for June. Again I couldn’t resist, Kobo does pretty good promotions and I think I have a shopping (for books) addiction.
Let’s see what I bought in June (I need to say though, not much).
The Skin Collector and The Steel Kiss by Jeffery Deaver.
These two books are book #11 and book #12 of Deaver’s Lincoln Rhyme Series. As I wrote in the May Haul post, Lincoln is the detective who made me love serial books. It’s been a long time since I read one of his books and since book #13 was published last month in Italy, Kobo promoted all Deaver’s books. The Skin Collector has always had a high price even if it wasn’t quite new, so when It was in promotion I just need to have it.
The Mermaids Singing by Val McDermid.
This is a new series for me, it’s from Tony Hill and Carol Jordan Series. This was in my “to check out later” bookshelf and when Kobo discounted it I decided to try a new author. Let’s see if I will continue with the series.
I know, that’s all for this month, but I do have a back log of books that I need to read and I’ve already planned out what to read during the summer, or the next few months.
