Reading Challenges Recap

Let’s see how my challenges went this 2021. I need to say that I read a lot this year except for some months where I had a lot of work (and no lockdown this year so less time to read – not that I have a job that locks down since I’m one of the lucky one which store is open during lockdowns, but I digress…)

Generally, everything was fine as you can see from the chart below and seeing that for some challenges I read a lot more, now I will talk about them one by one :D

Mount TBR

Virtual Mount TBR

Library Love

Cloack and Dagger

The Backlist Reader

Mount TBR

I wanted to read 12 books that I own. Apparently I’m more able to read books that I don’t own and use my library (and some I added or bought in 2021). But I finished the challenge: 13 / 12

Virtual Mount TBR

And seeing that I’m more able to read books that I don’t own, I read more that my planned books for this challenge: 23 / 12

Library Love

At the beginning of the year I struggled a bit for this challenge, but at the end I read only from the library so I’ve finished it: 19 / 12

Finish the Series

I’ve finished 5 series! The finished or up to date series are:

  1. Snow Like Ashes
  2. An Ember in the Ashes
  3. Sherlock Homes
  4. Nevernight
  5. Holger Munch & Mia Kruger

Then, there are a lot of books that contribute to my goal to finish the series, 26 of them:

Beat the Backlist

I believe that almost all the books that I read are in this challenge, except for the first book and three books published in 2021, 53 / 30

Cloak and Dagger

I was sooooo good to read mystery books this year! I read 26 books out of 5 programmed. I’m an Inspector! (the 26th review will be out Tomorrow)

The Backlist Reader

I read a lot for this challenge, too, and I read a few books which publishing date was 2020 and 2021 :D so the total is: 41 su 20
